Planned Summer Works
Client: Church of England – Leeds Diocese
Seasonal flooding meant that a significant amount of vital teaching time had been lost at the school. We were contracted to deliver an extensive plan of summer works to improve the flow of surface floodwater with additional catchment drainage.
During the summer break we resurfaced playgrounds and reinstated soft play areas. We provided new fencing and a linked security system. On completion, specialist flood defence works were installed to the school entrance doors and vulnerable areas, to help avoid any further disruption.
The work was fully completed over the summer recess.
